Wire fencing is available in different qualities, and we recommend class 3 wire products for horses and livestock. These products are highly resistant to oxidation, ensuring rust-free fences for up to three times longer than class 1 wire. Although various profiles are available, a 2"x4" spacing is suitable for horses, while larger spacing can be considered for other animals.

Diamond mesh fencing is considered the top-tier wire fence as it features heavier gauge horizontal wires that are doubled together, offering increased strength. This wire also has small openings that prevent any hoof damage to horses. However, most wire fences require at least one board installation to make the fence visible to horses. Proper bracing is necessary for this type of fence, making it a costly option for small areas like corrals.
